World Famous Bodybuilder Andre Cavalcanti Dies in Tragic Motorcycle Accident

Today, the bodybuilding community mourns the loss of a beloved champion, Andre Cavalcanti, who tragically died in a motorcycle accident in Brazil.

The Accident

The incident occurred on the BR-369 road between Ibiporã and Jataizinho. Andre Cavalcanti, 34, collided head-on with a car driven by a 17-year-old who was riding without a license. The local police chief, Vitor Dutra, confirmed that the accident happened when the teenager, who had taken his parents’ car without permission, crashed into Cavalcanti’s motorcycle. Tragically, Cavalcanti was pronounced dead at the scene.

The teenager’s parents were unaware that their son had taken the car for a joyride with two other minors, aged 15 and 17. After the crash, all three teenagers were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Authorities are considering whether to charge the 17-year-old as an adult with a crime akin to murder.
